Swilken Bench
The inspiration for the form came from the Swilken Bridge on the 18th Green at St. Andrews golf course in Scotland.This bench follows simple structural principals and uses the simplicity of form to showcase the beauty of the wood. ReClaimed hardwoods are constructed into a laminate strip top that shows off the variations in color and figuring in beautiful hardwoods. The smooth curved top is accented with a scalloped underside. Hidden connections keep the bench sleek.
Swilken OPEN
The OPEN version has a top with a slatted top that better sheds rain and highlights the form. The base is aluminum with a thumbprint detail.
